Walkerton Tool and Die was established in 1962 and is celebrating our 46th year of service to our customers. Our facility is located in northwest Indiana within a 3 hr driving radius of Chicago, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and lower Michigan. Our facility is 20,000 sq ft with a complete climate controlled shop floor utilizing the newest CNC technology. Over the years our shop floor has upgraded with technology to it's current listing of 26 CNC machines. We have extensive experience machining cast iron and steel castings, steel forgings, aluminum forgings and castings, weldments and brass, aluminum, steel, stainless steel and plastic bar stock. Our lathe department ranges in size from 1/2"" diameter bar feeder lathe up to a 22"" swing CNC lathe. The Mill department has six 400mm horizontal machining centers ideally suited for mid to high volume machining projects. CNC vertical machines range in travel size from 30"" x 16"" to 84"" x 32"" with 4th axis capabilities. Our CNC boring mill has 84"" x 48"" travels for the larger machining projects. Our Quality Control department has a complete documented quality control program patterned after current ISO standards.
