Our Story Founded in 1955 by Ken Geyer, Geyer Auction Companies has been a family-owned and operated auction firm for more than 70 years. What began as a small Pennsylvania-based operation has evolved into a full-service auction company and regional leader in real estate auctions and business liquidations, serving clients throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the Mid-Atlantic region. Today, Geyer Auction Companies is led by three generations of the Geyer–Akins family and supported by a dedicated team of 20 experienced professionals. Our longevity is built on adaptability, integrity, and a consistent focus on delivering measurable results for our clients. Leadership & Growth In 1999, Mark Akins, nephew of founder Ken Geyer, assumed the role of President. Under his leadership, the company expanded its services and capabilities to meet the changing needs of sellers across multiple industries.
