Fischer Engineering Company has been a leading provider of welding engineering services and specialized testing equipment since 1976. Based in Dayton, Ohio, the company serves fabricators, manufacturers, and laboratories throughout the United States and internationally with products designed to meet or exceed industry welding codes and standards including ASME Section IX, AWS D1.1-D1.6, API 1104, and other recognized specifications. The company's product line includes weld bend testers, weld tensile testers, welding coupons (including their trademarked Super Coupon®), fillet weld testers, and bend specimen cutting systems. Their newest addition is the Model TT100 Tensile Tester, capable of testing large reduced section tensile specimens up to 1-1/2 inch thick with higher tensile strength materials using full section thickness. Founded by Glenn Fischer, PE, CWI, and now owned by Ben Finney, PE, CWI, Fischer Engineering combines decades of welding engineering expertise with innovative equipment design.
