A Tradition of Quality Baton Rouge Machine Works , LLC (BR Machine) is the result of the progression of talents, dedication and determination, which began nearly sixty years ago. BR Machine Works is a precision machine shop that provides custom machining services for a variety of industries such as aerospace, defense, medical, and oil and gas. We offer a range of services including CNC milling, turning, grinding, balancing, and prototyping. Our capabilities include manufacturing high precision parts, as well as repairing and rebuilding existing components. The company also offers design and engineering services to assist with the development of custom parts and assemblies. Our facility is comprised of a machine shop, a roll shop, a pump shop, as well as on site storage. BR Machine Works is based in Baton Rouge, La. MACHINE SHOP The heart of the operation, our machine shop is equipped to handle any type of machining. Using both CNC and manual tools, we can manufacture new component parts for any repair, as well as refurbish parts back to factory specifications. ROLL SHOP With over 50,000 feet of floor space, our roll shop is capable of handling large scale projects. A variety of heavy-duty machinery and high capacity overhead cranes makes us capable of both manufacturing and repairing almost any type of roll shell or journal. We provide new rolls, rebuilds, modifications, upgrades and balancing to factory specification. PUMP SHOP Our Pump Shop has the capability of performing work on a large variety of pumps, turbines, blowers, and mixers. We also rebuild and repair gearboxes as well as precision balancing.
