The Association of Women in the Metal Industries (AWMI) is an international professional organization founded in California in 1981, dedicated to promoting and supporting the advancement of women in the metal industries. As a 501(c)(6) tax-exempt nonprofit business league, AWMI serves professionals across North America with 21 active chapters throughout the United States and Canada.
