About
Aircraft Component Design (ACD) was founded as an aerospace engineering services company consisting of two employees with the goal of providing value and enabling flight. Today, the ACD team is postured with years of combined aerospace experience specializing in legacy aircraft parts creation, engineering services, and component distribution. We enable flight by offering cost-effective OEM alternative parts that are obsolete, difficult to come by, or otherwise impractical to secure. We specialize in legacy aircraft applications where the OEM does not provide adequate support and parts or services are at a premium rate. ACD is a PMA company that focusses primarily on engine components (CT58, CT7/T700, TPE 331, and PT6). We also provide a select number of airframe components (Black Hawk, SAAB 340, and S-61). In addition to our current offering, ACD is capable of developing PMA for any component that is not designated as Life-Limited by the FAA. Our PMA capabilities cover engine, engine accessories (fuel, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical) airframe, and landing gear. Our product groups include bearings, carbon seals, igniter leads, sealing product, hardware, solenoids, thermocouple harnesses, electrical cables and more. We have extensive capabilities that span from simple to complex configurations. ACD will work with you to determine the best value to meet your needs while adhering to industry requirements.
