Founded in 1955, A.S. Thomas, Inc. has a broad range of manufacturing and engineering related offerings. Mfg. Facilities include 4 and 5-axis precision CNC machines capable of machining parts up to 28" x 40". 3-D DCC CMM for dimensional inspection. High-energy mass finishing for parts up to 8" x 5". EDI - most common formats accepted including IGES, DXF, DWG,etc. Full 2 1/2 through 5-axis CAM including sculptured surface machining A.S.Thomas Inc. manufacturing facility, is a state-of-the-art precision CNC machine shop. AST-MFG is equipped with 3, 4, and 5-axis Precision CNC machines and necessary quality equipment including a 5-axis DCC cmm. The shop is supported by industry leading engineers using technologies pioneered by A.S.Thomas Inc. Companies worldwide have come to A.S.Thomas Inc. for prototypes and process development. Our engineers use our industry leading CAD/CAM system giving superior control of the CNC machines, faster programming and verification, allowing for fast turnaround for prototypes and more control of machining variables, allowing for efficiencies in production.
